Corny Bakers processes personal data of its customers, potential customers and other contact persons. We do this in order to be able to execute any agreement. In this privacy statement we explain why and how we process your personal data.

Which personal data does Corny Bakers process?
Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we may process, depending on the products or services that you purchase or use:
- First and last name

- Contact history
Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by registering on our website, in correspondence and by telephone.
- Legal requirements
A small part of our processing is required by law. This mainly concerns personal data that are necessary to comply with our tax obligations.
- Newsletters and mailings
We occasionally send newsletters and/or mailings. Sometimes these are personalized based on certain actions you have taken or products and/or services you purchase from us. You always have the option to adjust your preferences for receiving newsletters and mailings.
Automated decision making
Corny Bakers does not make decisions based on automated processing (algorithms) that could have adverse consequences for you.
Rights of data subjects

- Information and inspection: of course you can view which personal data we process from you. We are therefore happy to tell you more about how and why we process this data.
- Rectification: do you have the impression that we have incorrect information about you? Let us know and we’ll adjust it.
- Oblivion: you can delete the personal data we hold about you. We may still have to process that data for other purposes (administration or deduplication, for example).
- Restriction: if you have the impression that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can also have that processing restricted.
- Objection (opposition): you can submit an objection to the processing of your personal data. Is it about marketing? Then we will terminate that processing as soon as possible.
- Transferability: this is a new right under the AVG to transfer your personal data (or have it transferred). If you want to make use of this, please contact us.
In addition, you can also:
- Withdraw permission: for example, to receive e-mailings. If you want to withdraw permission for another processing, you can contact us. This can be done through sales@cornybakers.nl
- Submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP): do you think that we do not act in accordance with privacy legislation? Then of course we would like to hear that. You can also submit a complaint about this to the AP.
How long keep
How long do we store your personal data?
Personal data may not be kept longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we received or collected the data and on any legal obligations to retain data.
If you have requested a quote from us but you have not become a customer with us, we will delete your data no later than two years after our last contact. Even if we have received a quote from you, but we have not become your customer, your personal data will be deleted no later than two years after our last contact. If you have become our customer or if we have become your customer, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully performed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period within which we are obliged to keep our records for the tax authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.
Basis of processing:
As explained above, we process some data for the performance of a legal obligation, some for the performance of an agreement and most for the performance of Corny Bakers’ legitimate interest: to carry out our objective. If you would like to know more about the consideration we make with regard to the legitimate interest, please contact us.
Transfer to third parties
In connection with the implementation of a possible agreement with you, we may have to provide your personal data to parties that supply products and/or services to us or carry out work on our behalf. We also use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchasing administration, which includes your personal data. Your personal data is therefore provided to our server space provider.
How Corny Bakers secures your personal data
We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us at sales@cornybakers.nl.
We have taken the following measures to protect your personal data:
- Our employees’ servers and devices are equipped with up-to-date security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.
- We only send your data via secure internet connections (SSL). You can see this in the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock.
- Access to personal data from mobile devices is restricted and actively monitored.
DKIM are internet standards that we use to prevent you from receiving e-mails on our behalf that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.

Corny Bakers uses cookies. We do this so that we can stay informed about the maintenance of the website and to analyze website traffic by means of Google Analytics.
